Kaisercraft 'Mint Wishes' part 2

Hi There!
I'm back with another layout using the Kaisercraft Mint Wishes part of my October design team work for Anna's Craft Cupboard
This one featuring my girl, this photo was taken back in 2012…..
‘Joy to my World’
Lots of layers using the Mint Wishes – Sticker SheetDie cuts & Kaisercraft flowers…..

I couldn’t resist on purchasing some of the new Tim Holtz – Distress Oxide
You can view all of the Distress Oxides ——-> HERE
Decided to have a bit of a play creating this layout…..
I’ve used the ‘frayed burlap’ & ‘lucky clover’
Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pad - Frayed Burlap                Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pad - Lucky Clover
To achieve this look, I applied the inks using the Tim Holtz/Ranger
Mini Foam Ink Blending Tool, onto the white cardstock….. Then sprayed with water….
let that dried, then repeat by reapplying the inks in some areas only
because I wanted more of an oxide finish…. I did reapply about 3 times in some areas…
One thing I did found was, allowing some bigger drips of water to fall onto
the inks to get a bigger circle/oxide finish…..
REALLY HAPPY on how this has turned O.U.T….. Honestly! At first I was thinking I already have distress inks, why do I need/WANT these, BUT! I am SO very glad I did!
I hope you liked my my Kaisercraft Mint Wishes layout Joy to my world,
